My first wedding cake... Retro design

This was my first wedding cake... I was so stressed out, and worked for endless hours, and came out with very sore muscles, but got it done, and it turned out great!!! My camera was broken at the time so I had to use my camera phone so the pics are not great... but I did finally get a new camera so hopefully my future cakes will look great with new pics!!!

Since we didn't have Shayda's birthday party on her actual birthday I decided to make her a mini cake with her favorite birthday cake... and of course I need to practice anything!!!

Now that you have looked at these cakes... I want you to know that they are not my finest work!!! My daughter Shayda is one of my hardest clients, and she wanted a princess cake, but i needed to include Justice as well so I came of with the "Princess and the Frog theme". I of course had way to much on my plate, and only gave myself about 4 hours to do both cakes... You may not believe it... but it takes much more than 4 hours for a cake that is 3 layers plus the smash cake. Anyways... after that long spill... I had a rough time getting them done, so the frog looked like E.T., and the princess cake looks a little rough haha. Needless to say that I would not send a cake out in this shape again, but My kids thought that they were great!!!
