My good friend and co-worker Lauri Mathews and her darling daughter Pyper asked me to do a makeup cake! I loved doing it for them, it tested me and was alot of fun... Thanks for giving me another challenge guys! Here are a couple of pics of this cake...Enjoy!

Guitar Cakes...

A Good friend of mine asked me to make an electric guitar for her sons birthday... I tried to make it look just like his guitar, and it was pretty close, but it was definately one of the more difficult cakes for me to decorate... because I am not an expert on guitars haha! I hope that he liked it... Thanks Laurie for letting me give it a try!

COMMENTS...

I would love to get your comments on my cakes... I did get one from one of my good friends Joe Lovell, and if you have read it then you would know that he wishes he could taste them (next time you guys are down, I will make a trip over just so you can taste test) so it got me thinking that I would really love your comments about what you would like to see me try. I have really enjoyed doing this, and I have a couple more that I am working on adding this weekend... but I need to hear some ideas. Thank you to all those who have supported my new hobbie. I have loved every minute...

AND CAKES...

And Cakes... yes, I apparently love doing creative, fun things that start with the letter C! haha. My whole life I have loved creative cakes. Since I was little my mom either made me cute little cakes or she would order beautiful cakes from Marsha Mecham. I guess that I was inspired to try it on my own. I only made them for family until recently when I started recieving requests to do them for others. Now keep in mind that I am new at this, so they are definately not up to the caliber of cakes that people like Marsha make, but I am trying, and I am loving it. I would love to continue doing this, so if you or someone you know would like a special order cake or cupcakes for any occasion please keep me in mind.
